In English, words have different parts of speech. Common parts of speech are nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, prepositions, pronouns and interjections. When you write, you must use the correct part of speech for each word. If you use them wrongly or make spelling mistakes, your teacher will spot them at once.
